Art contest \”Khojaly Peace Prize-2017\” dedicated to 25 th anniversary of Khojaly genocide have been started by \”Justice for Khojaly\” international campaign and The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS). This year, jury consists of the chief of British Azerbaijan interparliamentary Friendship group, MP Bob Blackman, Former Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth affairs, Baronessa Manzur and the director of the European Azerbaijan Society, Lionel Zetter ,Nakhchivantv.az reported.
Works will be assess regarding the power of the image to promote peaceful resolution for conflicts and to empathize with the plight of refugees.
Authors presenting the most imaginative and memorable works by using painting, collage and rotogravure will be awarded with Khojaly Peace Prize.
The Prize Award ceremony will be held in the Parliament of Great Britain and it will allow all participants of exhibition and the members of British Parliament come together to celebrate the results of the contest.
Winners will be announced on February 22.
First place will be awarded to 500 funt and \”Khojaly Peace Prize\” while second and third places will accordingly receive 300 funt and 200 funt.
