The Caspian European Club prepared the annual investment rating of the economic regions of Azerbaijan for 2017. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic topped the investment rating of the regions of Azerbaijan, since it got the highest overall score.
On January 23, an event was organized on this occasion in the Heydar Aliyev Museum.
Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov attended the event.
Nakhchivan`s Minister of Economy Famil Seyidov and First Deputy Chairman of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev addressed the event.
Telman Aliyev presented the award of the Caspian European Club to the chairman of the Supreme Assembly for his special contribution to the development of investment and business climate in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Vasif Talibov also made a speech at the event.
The Caspian European Club was established in June 2002 with the support of the largest oil and gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is the Chairman of the Caspian European Club.
Since the very establishment the Caspian European Club has promoted attraction of the oil industry revenues for the development of the non-oil sector. The Caspian European Club, which brings together more than 5,000 member companies and organizations, operates in 70 countries around the world and is active in supporting the dialogue between the government agencies and the private sector.
